  1. I just got Jessies wonderful birthday package all wrapped up in Jaspers amazing artwork (she has Andy Warhol the tooth there!) and absolutely adore my book :). I am humbled and amazed by the generosity of the blogging community and it makes me feel wonderful to know that I have such good friends out there :). My book is a new treasure to be pored over late into the evening (late for me is 7pm but you can be assured that the poring will be long and rewarding πŸ™‚ ). I can see it being my close companion in the near future Linne as I have just decided that this year is my year of getting out of my comfort zone. My comfort zone has me stagnating at “learning” and not dabbling in “Doing” very much at the moment and I am going to be bollocksed if 50 doesn’t find me fumbling towards the future with a purpose! I am just about to wood burn myself a sign that says “I can and I will”. I need a constant reminder that I need to get out there and “Do” life. It won’t come to me, it’s just waiting for me to peel off a few hermitty layers and get at it. 50 finds me fitter and healthier than ever and I am going to put it to good use…every day I am going to step out of my comfort zone at least once. It is going to be the start of a brand new way of living and should make interesting blog posts as well. Cheers for the wonderful birthday salutations and thank you SO much for my wonderful learning experience via that wonderful book. Your kindness has allowed me to peel a hermitty shell comfort zone layer off and start thinking about doing things on Serendipity Farm. No more procrastination about “can’t afford” or “too hard” bollocks to that! We can…and we will… πŸ™‚

    • Glad you like it, Narfie7! Will be glad to hear what you think of it, like it or not . . . If for any reason it’s not your thing, you might think of donating it to your library. Just a thought. I love my own copy, but choosing for others is tricky sometimes. I’ve done lots and LOTS of ‘learning’ and not that much ‘doing’, too; I’m on that same path of working toward more application in daily life. That ’50’ year is a good one in which to evaluate one’s life and make a few changes. Of course, we can do this during any year . . . Have a wonderful month!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I look forward to reading your comments. ~ Linne
