visit, read the article and thanks for posting your article is quite good and we hope that all our friends all success and thank you all, greetings Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year to you and yours. 🙂
A few years ago (quite a few…we have been living on Serendipity Farm for 3 years now…) when we lived on the fringes of the city, I started collecting pretty jars with the idea that I would make something like this. Needless to say, the real world got in the way and those jars are still sitting on the small deck that Steve and I made out the back underneath the large flowering cherry and sycamore, full of brown water and leaves waiting for “brown water and leaves” to suddenly become de riguer for Christmas decorations… lucky glass doesn’t biodigrade isn’t it? 😉
Narf7, that sounds so like me, I just had to laugh . . . Ideas are rife (cheap and not time-consuming, too); I have supplies to make so many things, and ideas for so many more, that for sure the worst will never come to pass: to spend my last years sitting around idle, having run out if things to do . . . 😉
BTW, I hear that brown is still in favour, so your jars should lend just the right touch to your elegant and very chi-chi home . . . 😉 😉 😉
Thanks for the link; I’ll check it out later. Just waiting for Mum to arrive back from my sister’s. Glad you are taking pictures these days . . . blogging is good for lots of things, eh?
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I look forward to reading your comments. ~ Linne Cancel reply

Funnily enough I made these for a friend, painting them with paint mixed with PVA (mod podge?) and she was stoked. 🙂
You wouldn’t have a photo somewhere, would you? I’d love to see yours . . . Hugs, and I hope you’ve had a great day! ~ Linne
Um, check out http://middleagedreflections.blogspot.com.au/2013/12/an-afternoon-of-tena-moments-and.html
I never got to taking pics sadly. I’m awful at remembering to take photos (terrible for blogging reasons and memories alike) but thankfully Lynda is a better blogger and photographer than I am. 🙂
